Dr. John Schwandt Organ Recital

Dr. John D. Schwandt is perhaps one of the most multi-faceted artists on the performance circuit today. He is a nationally acclaimed performer and is in demand as a clinician, recitalist, leader of hymn festivals, silent film accompanist, organ consultant, and voicer and tonal finisher. Equally at home on a classical or theatrical pipe organ, he is known for his musical versatility, improvisation, and ability to excite and engage audiences of every kind.

Dr. Schwandt will bring his talents to CUW for an afternoon of amazing organ music, at Chapel of Christ Triumphant utilizing our Steiner-Reck organ.

Please purchase tickets before the concert, or be prepared to use a credit/debit card at the ticket table on the day of the performance. Guests 12 years of age and younger and CUW students, faculty and staff are allowed free entry; all other guests will require a ticket. Tickets go on sale approximately one month before the performance date.

CUW STUDENTS: To order your free ticket, click on "Have a Passcode?" below and enter your ID #, including "F00..." Refunds/exchanges are offered only at the discretion of the Music Department.

Concert Entrance: Please park in Lot A or B. The Chapel courtyard doors will only be open unless there is any snow or ice on the sidewalks and stairs/ramp leading to those doors. The only other entrance that will be open is Luther (Administration). Those needing to drop off guests close to the entrance should utilize the circle driveway at the Luther entrance. Parking Lot C and the Katherine Hall entrance will no longer be available.
