Growing Together: Let Your Mentoring Skills Take Shape

This Growing Together Workshop is open to All Faculty, Staff, and Graduate and Undergraduate students who would like to build their communication skills in the areas of Listening, Critical Thinking, and Feedback Strategies.  The presenter will also share tips for using scripture as a guide within conversations and applying S.M.A.R.T. goals in developing a mentee or personal growth plan. This event will involve active roundtable guided practice but we will move quickly through the steps.  

Event Cost:  Free with online registration 

Event Length: 4:30 p.m.-6:30 p.m. (Registration begins at 4:15 p.m. as does access to food). Thursday, September 15th in Al 114, Terrace Room.  

A light dinner of sandwiches, chips, and cookies, and a water station will be available free of cost for all registered attendees. 

The event will be limited to 100 attendees so register early! 


Special note: Look for more workshop opportunities that build this content out into longer timeframes for more in-depth skill practice. Or invite Darcy or one of the WLI Facilitators to lead it in your home congregation, group, or ministry setting.  Email darcy.paape@cuw.edu
